Paul Keetch MP

Working hard for Hereford, Ross-on-Wye, South Herefordshire and the Golden Valley

WELCOME TO PAUL KEETCH MP'S WEBSITE

In November 2006 Paul Keetch made the decision to stand down as MP at the next General Election. This means that Paul stays as MP for the Hereford constituency until the next General Election, which must be called by June 2010. His position as MP does not change in the meantime. He is still living in Hereford and has an office there. He can still help his constituents as always. Paul can be contacted via this website or by visiting an advice surgery, details of which can be found on this website.

Sarah Carr has been chosen by the Liberal Democrats to succeed Paul and she will be standing at the next General Election. Sarah was Paul's campaign manager when he was first elected in 1997. Sarah will continue to be a strong voice for Hereford, Ross-on-Wye and South Herefordshire in Parliament should she be elected. To find out more about Sarah Carr visit www.sarahcarr.org.uk or follow the links on this website.

NATO - celebrating 60 years of solidarity and the shared goals of peace, security and stability

Quotes of the Week

"I hate to say it, but only one party leader seems to have grasped that, if you construct a system where unskilled people are worse off by taking a job than by staying on welfare, they remain trapped in poverty - and that is Nick Clegg."

Lord Norman Tebbit

Daily Telegraph online - 13 Jan

"It's unbelievable that the Tories are still planning to cut taxes for a handful of millionaires when the majority of people across the country are feeling the squeeze. We need fair tax cuts that put money back in the pockets of ordinary people. The Tory sums simply do not stack up. It is irresponsible and highly misleading for George Osborne to continue to pretend that they do."
