2005 General Election Results
On Election Night 2005, Paul Keetch was returned for a record third time as the Member of Parliament for Hereford. The Liberal Democrats were again the big winners on the night increasing their number of seats from 52 to 62. For the full set of results throughout the country please follow the link.

Your Vote - Postal Votes
You can apply to vote by post for all future elections. You can also vote by post if you are likely to be away on election day or apply for a proxy vote so that another person can vote on your behalf with your authorisation. This site has downloadable postal vote forms and guidance. If you are resident in Herefordshire, return the completed application form to: Electoral Registration Office, Herefordshire Council, Leominster HR6 8NP

Your Vote - Registering to Vote
The electoral register is the list of everyone who is registered to vote. You must be on the register to vote at elections. You can register to vote at any time. If you have recently moved house you should re-register so that you can vote at a polling station close to your new home or apply for a postal vote. This site has information on registering, guidance notes and the downloadable form to complete. If you are resident in Herefordshire, return the completed application form to: Electoral Registration Office, Herefordshire Council, Leominster HR6 8NP.
