Keetch Welcomes EAZ Extensions

Paul Keetch, Member of Parliament for Hereford has welcomed the news that the Government is extending Hereford's Education Action Zone from three years to five. Paul Keetch was instrumental in getting EAZ status for the South Wye and Golden Valley areas of Herefordshire.

"I am delighted with this news - it will be welcomed by the hundreds of pupils in the more than 20 schools it effects", said Mr Keetch. "The EAZ has already provide Millions of pounds of extra investment to Herefordshire - this will add a further £2 million as well. I see the results when I visit the schools concerned - it is good news."
