Retention Bonuses Should Be Available For All Forces

12.00.00am GMT Fri 7th Feb 2003

Paul Keetch MP, Liberal Democrat Shadow Defence Secretary, commenting on the publication of the Armed Force's Pay Review Body's report for 2003, said:

"At last the MoD has shown some imagination in retaining personnel. But our Armed Forces are not merely short of Signals, Submarine and Air crews - undermanning is a problem across the board."

"These bonuses should be extended to other units in order to retain valued personnel."
