Paul Keetch visits the British Heart Foundation shop in Hereford

During British Heart Week, Paul Keetch, MP for Hereford, paid a visit to the British Heart Foundation shop in St. Peters Street, Hereford.

Paul met with a number of volunteers but was astonished to learn that they are unable to cope with the demand on the shop and more volunteers are urgently required.

"A number of activities took place during British Heart Week in which I was able to take part," said Mr Keetch.

"I was pleased to be able to meet the volunteers at the local British Heart Foundation shop in Hereford, but felt that the shop would clearly benefit if more volunteers were on hand to serve and assist customers.

"Having spoken with the staff and seen the excellent job they do for this charity I would urge any local people who are able to assist them to contact the shop and offer their services."
