KEETCH ENCOURAGED BY HUGE RESPONSE TO FLOODS CAMPAIGN

Paul Keetch MP supporting the campaign to improve flood defences for Hereford

Paul Keetch, Lib Dem MP for Hereford, was at the launch of the Hereford Campaign for Flood Defences and met again with Bill Adamson, a local resident spearheading the campaign, last Saturday.

"Having met with the committee several weeks ago, I was pleased to be at the launch and to give my personal support to the campaign," Mr Keetch said.

"In just one week around 650 postcards have been returned and the signatures on the petition are growing fast. This shows the strength of feeling locally and will certainly let the Minister know that the funds should be put in place to start the flood defence scheme without further delay," Mr Keetch added.
