LOCAL MP PRAISES ROSS FARMERS MARKET

Local Lib Dem MP Paul Keetch today (Friday 2nd April) visited the Ross-on-Wye farmers market.

"I'm delighted to see the farmers market back," the MP said. "There is always a tremendous selection on display, and today was no exception.

"There is nothing better than the top quality local produce that you can get at farmers markets, and I'm glad to have been able to get a bit of shopping done today.

"I always enjoy the organic produce on offer and I hope that organic farmers can continue for a long time without the fear of GM crops cross-contaminating. Herefordshire's organic farmers produce some of the best food in the country.

"Having been born and brought up in Herefordshire maybe I'm a bit sentimental, but I always think that Herefordshire produce just tastes better, and the Farmers Market is a great place to get some of the best."
