Herefords Lib Dem MP, Paul Keetch has congratulated the Royal National College for the Blind for their outstanding success in being judged the country's best specialist college.

He visited the college last night (Monday) to congratulate the Principal, Governors, staff and students. He also attended a presentation by Morgan Evans about future development on the site with Alan Curless of the Learning Skills Council.

"This is an outstanding success," said Mr Keetch.

"Everyone involved in the RNCB in Hereford can rightly feel proud of their achievement. To be judged by OFSTED as excellent in all seven areas of inspection is remarkable. I am especially pleased for the Principal, Roisin Burge, who has worked so hard for the college. This OFSTED Report is a great tribute to her."
