MINISTER CONFIRMS NO DECISION AT LLANCLOUDY UNTIL CONSULTATION

11.00.00am GMT Tue 12th Jul 2005

A Government Minister has confirmed that no decision on a route for the removal of waste from Hill Farm Llancloudy will be made until DEFRA officials meet local MP Paul Keetch and a representative of the local residents' association. The decision, by DEFRA Minister Ben Bradshaw, was confirmed today to Paul Keetch in a written Parliamentary Answer.

"I am pleased that the Minister has agreed to meet me and a representative from the village, and that no decision on a route will be taken until that meeting takes place", said Mr Keetch.

"We will be arranging that as soon as possible, and I hope a route agreeable to all can be found".
