Even in their own expectations Hereford Pedicabs have grown quickly:

firstly they launched pedal taxis in Hereford, then they launched a

prosperous cycle courier company and recently they have developed a

successful inner city recycling programme for local businesses. One thing

they didn't plan on however, was using their bikes to help companies

move premises, which is exactly what happened recently when local MP

Paul Keetch requested the help of Hereford Pedicabs to move his

office from one side of town to the other.

Commenting, Paul Keetch said, "We have already been using

Hereford Pedicabs to recycle our office waste and we thought they

would be the perfect cost effective, emission free solution to help

us move premises." Two riders, each with vehicles capable of carrying

up to a quarter of a ton were dispatched to help and in less than a

day the move had taken place.

Will Vaughan, Director of Hereford Pedicabs, said "It was certainly one of the stranger requests we've had but we were happy to help, thankfully the weather held out. Although it was a bit of fun for us we think it was pretty forward thinking to use us for the move. Fortunately we could free our vehicles up and Mr Keetch's staff were a great help."
